Held last Saturday at the Bahay ng Alumni UP Diliman, finally, bf and I are no longer bazaarista virgins. (sounds malicious, no kids allowed.) kidding! They even allow pets inside!
Setting up!
I couldn't find the courage to take photos of other booths because I was really shy to put a camera in front of them, haha! But there are a  loooot of great finds here, at super great prices! <3
Ms. Sandy Beltran, one of the organizers (Mr. Benjamin Beltran being the other), was interviewed for 24 Oras. It was shot right beside our latagan space!
Super cool Rock Balancing Exhibition! I wanted to try it but of course I had to man our space. Hahaha!
Lulzz. Bf and I were laughing at his PRC ID while manning our booth. Look at what three years can make to one's face shape! =P
Boyfriend couldn't pass up the great deal on one of the booths to have his own Dallas Mavericks shirts. He got these 2 for only 500 pesos! Great material and great print quality! <3 No loot for me, though. Broke. =P
Our latag! <3

It was tiring but fun! I'd like to thank all those who bought from us, and to everyone we met. And also to the people who asked for our cards (which reminds me, we should make one! We gave price tags instead which contains our website, haha) and complimented us on having great products. <3 Co-lataganer (whattt?!) Shyra also suggested that we make an FB page for our shop! Haha. Until now we are still stuck with using multiply only. =P What do you think? :D

Thank you Ms. Sandy and Sir Benjamin for a great experience as first time bazaaristas. We are happy that we chose this event. Hopefully we'll be back on October, if schedule permits. Great Job on your end! =)

I'll upload the bow bags and maybe the metallic socks (we have 5 more pairs left!) over at Ghoent Junior a little later. =)

Credits to:
God - for the beautiful weather
God - for the sales we got
God - for the people we met
God - for being always kind to us

First ever! I know I haven't been quite active in the innurnet this past week and that's because I was mulling over bazaar stuff ideas and the logistics of our items (may ganon!). I promise to go back to being the number one commenter of your blogs after this bazaar. Haha. A bum's life right there. =P

Anyway, as I was saying, the new bags will drop this Saturday! The new design which i'll simply be calling as "purse bags" (for now) will finally be released here! Dibs for bazaar customers before we launch it on the website! =)

The bestest news ever, price of this bag is only at 695pesos! ;) I mentioned in one of my comments here that the bags will be somehwere at the range of 750pesos, and I'm really happy that after all the fuzzy accounting kabajinggas, 695 came out as the magic number! Yey for savings agad! :)

Oh and there are only a few pieces left for our mini-laptop bags (sling/handbag)! Get your 10inch notebooks a new home! =)

 Fourier Mini-laptop bag, 495pesos.

A few other kewwwl things we will be selling at the bazaar:

Glitter socks

Feather headbands

Super cute voodoo dolls/keychains/cellphone accessory/car accessory in three sizes!

These are just some of the designs for these cuties. There are a lot! =)

We will also be selling vintage shirts and other knickknacks (not the food. how do i spell that then?) so please check our space at the latagan area! =)

Ghoent Junior will be at the Triple Treat Tiangge on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman, Quezon City. Doors open at 10am! See you there! <3

Here are my new babies! Finally had the right weather to shoot my lovely new batch of bags. The only pictures that I am not putting here (yet) are well, the bags' solo shots. So this pretty much reveals everything - the colors, the form, and the modelling skillz that I am yet to learn HAHAHA.

I'm so happy that I'll be able to release these at GhoentJunior this July! Please watch out for them! (I use "them") because I still haven't named this design; it's a complicated process if you look through my albums lol). Still no price though, the batch is not yet done. I only made a handful (less than 10 pieces all three colors na!) so please start saving up to get your hands on them as soon as they are released! =)

On to the not so great news, I don't think I'll be able to release my 2 other designs this July. Ze bagmaker is busy with his work (and I totally understand that), so I don't think I'll be joining the bazaar I was planning to attend next month. That's ok though, I'll probably have my chance next time. =)

That's it! Hope you like the bags! <3

What's been keeping me busy? Thinking, brainstorming, looking for inspirations, and squeezing my creative juices. Am cooking up a new batch of bags to be released this July *crosses fingers* over at GhoentJunior. I already have one on the works, my bag maker has been kind enough to do this batch even if he (yezz, he!) already has a fulltime job. Thank you, kuya. Bless you!

A sneak peak on how that bag looks like:

Oh wtheck. I already uploaded a photo of me using it in this post. HAHA. Here:

You can't see it perfectly in that picture though, but it has a few interesting details! The kiss lock I used is just purrrrrrretteh! Will come in three colors, that gray one, being one of them.

You know I love ribbons and polkadots, as seen in this wedding outfit I wore in Bess' wedding.

hello One outfit = 3 ribbons! Overkill? HAHA. Well after having polkadots all over my previous collections, big bows then became the center of this design.

I have a couple more designs but I don't know if kuya can still accomodate my orders. I don't want to move on to another bagmaker cause he's just so easy to work with! And the aggressive in me is sort of pressuring him to accept my additional requests since I'm planning to join my very first bazaar this July. It's a different step once actual stalls and bazaars are there so I was hoping to have different items up for sale. Anyhoo, let us all together hope that kuya bends into my convincing powers. Ito lang ang pagkakataon ko eh, habang bum pa! Muhahahaha *evil laugh*.   .    .    . Uy di naman, bait ko nga eh. =P If he doesn't though, I will be heartbroken for quite a while. =(

What do you think of the bag? And do you have some bagmakers list up your sleeve? Please roll them down and share. Heeeheee. =P

Buying a laptop bag takes research, takes time. The perfect find must have both the durability and the style to match the owners needs, correct? Afterall, it is in the hands of the laptop bag to protect and carry that one thing that probably costs the most inside our bag (or maybe not). Case in point: laptops are expensive and worth all the trouble to protect and take care of. Hence, let's explore the Fourier Mini Laptop Bag (FMLB).

The FMLB under Inspection:

1. Weight
Laptop bags, i think, should be lightweight. The laptop itself is already relatively heavy, so adding unwanted weight may strain your neck, back, or shoulders. The FMLB is one lightweight laptop bag, mainly because it is made of light fabrics. This is a good start.

2. Space
The FMLB has a completely separate compartment for the laptop, and another compartment for other things. This for one resolves organization issues, as well as complete protection from the possible unexpected (and unwanted) contact between sharp/wet objects (keys, pens, combs, perfume etc.) and your laptop. It also has a roomy outside pocket where a lot of your little things (mini stuff  - alcohol, lotion, pack of tissue, keys, IDs, mirror, wipes, mints, i can go on here..) can go, without compromising the overall shape.

2 compartments of the FMLB with a spacious front pocket

3. Interior
So the outside is made up of fabric. Ok, that's lightweight and durable. But how about the interiors? I'm psyched about this part.

The FMLB has polyfine material as its interior. That's durability for you, guys. What is polyfine fabric? Let's do something visual - the following are made of polyfine fabrics:

Bag organizers

Totes, backpacks, and pouches

And a lot more. JGI (just google it). You probably have polyfine material lying there in your room. Feel its strength. So what does this say about FMLB?  It's like 2 bags in 1. The interior in intself is already being used as bags, while the FMLB uses it just as an interior.

Speaking of interior, the FMLB has sort of a built in bag organizer. The pockets are detailed and big, so you won't have to dig for your pens etc. Score! For the laptop side, 2 elastic bands are also present to secure your laptop. Of course the bag is also padded to cushion your laptop without needing the use of a laptop sleeve (but you can still put yours if you prefer to).

FMLB interior pockets

4. Pains
Laptop bags should be your friend. it shouldn't cause you pain, instead joy and happiness. Point is, if you are prone to back or shoulder pains, then you must have another way of carrying your laptop bag right? A handheld bag is the answer.

Handheld FMLB

Since this is a mini laptop bag, and that we've established at point number 1 that this is a lightweight bag, carrying it handheld style is not only stylish, but also practical. The shoulder straps are detachable just in case you like flaunting this bag handheld. If you'd like to sport it shoulder/sling bag style, then simply attach the adjustable shoulder straps and tuck in the handles in the hidden pockets. Neat and easy. I say, kickass cool.

FMLB handles tucked

FMLB handles untucked

5. Style
The good thing about the FMLB is that it comes in 5 different prints, with a wide range of the color pallet covered. They are also desinged to be very compact, so you look fixed and no nonesense but at the same time bold and confident. Hitting the mall after class? Coffee with friends? A casual date? The FMLB doesn't make you look like you came from a business meeting with your dad's file case. Its a fun day with your friends, but you must also exploit the free wifi right? Dress up in style with the fabulous print choices.

FMLB when worn

The size and aethetics of the FMLB is also very unsuspecting. Who would think that a laptop bag is actually inside there? Prying eyes will solely be from those guys who dig your bubbly spontaneous look, and other girls who adore your bright and fun style.

6. Price
Its always a pain to see that you've found the perfect laptop bag, only to find it amounting waaay above your budget. The FMLB is unbelievably priced at just right below 500 bucks - there's even enough change for you to buy some candy to treat yourself for scoring a great buy. That's value for money! Don't have a 10inch range of laptop? Well now's the time to finally give your friends, nieces, goddaughters, the FMLB and let them know you remember them. This laptop bag looks and feels more expensive than its actual price, so your loved ones will really feel special. Win-win scenario!

Now go ahead, and reasearch for your perfect laptop bag. Look for them in the mall, bazaars, internet; I'm sure you won't find anything near what the FMLB has to offer. ;)

Fourier. Weird name. And it's actually pronounced as FOUR' - EE - AYE rather than FOUR' - RIER. It has something to do with characterizing heat conduction, pretty much timely with the swealtering weather our dear country is experiencing. Summer got an advance ticket and came in months early. Nooooo. I used to like dressing up for summer but I kinda evolved into a style that's more cold nights-friendly aka a lot of fabric involved. Haha.

Anyway, i just uploaded yesterday the new set of bags I promised last week! You can view them HERE for the details. They're my favorite thing right now because of its size, its kick ass way of converting from a hand bag to a sling, and the fact that its a laptop bag less than 500 pesos (hello careful spender!).

Here are a few photos of me TRYING to model the Pink Polka version:

Harhar. First time my face got exposed in this website since Ghoent Junior started, I think. First time I used a tripod too. Didn't know it was that convenient, should have used it ages ago. Hahaha. That top's one of my favorite thrift finds too. Just delicately soft and pretty, don't you think?

Please don't forget to check out the Fourier Mini Laptop Bag album!

Kung Hei Fat Choi everyone! Don't know how you spell it but i spell asisayit. naha. Excited for my first set of babies this year, bags! First up, laptop bags for your 10inch netbooks.

As usual, there will be old school prints to choose from. Won't spoil any pattern but the color pallete's really pretty. They're made especially for 10inch laptops so they're compact and tiny; no one would think you're carrying your precious tech right by your shoulder!

The bags have a really smart kick way of converting from a handbag to a sling bag. I'll show you when I upload the album. When, when, that is the question.

Stay tuned. Will upload either next week, or the week after that. Gimme time to take scrutinizing photos for your benefit yes?

For the mean time, dive into other archaic items of Ghoent Junior. Glance at our Vintage Inspired Treasure Chests / Bauls (the big kinds! and not mini versions) or dig in through our beautiful brand new and preloved clothes. Holler if you like something! =)

Happy 2011 everyone!
That's a shoutout more than 2 weeks late but it's still worth greeting.

Is it me or is this year just a little more exciting?  I'm really feeling good for this season and I hope I could keep the energy level up and running. It's the official kick-off year of  the new decade, after all.

I know I haven't been exactly active last year, but 2011's a brand new day, ditto? The right stars could do some aligning and conspiring to sprinkle the store with some more love. I wish please!

Diving into other headlines, new layout for the site! Went with the old school sorbet feel which really strikes a childhood chord. Hope you guys like it.

New items coming up in the following weeks! What are they? Their vintage-y , they're bold , they're functional . Stay tuned for these!

Happy New Year everyone! With  the jumpstart of the 2010's decade, we at Ghoent Junior would like to deliver nothing less than the best deals for everyone. We have come up with a  few resolutions that will benefit all of us, and would like to share these with all of you. =)

1. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
This has always been a priority of Ghoent Junior, and this year we are gearing things up a notch with a few concrete details that will have all GJ clients asking for more.

a. Improvement in ALL of Ghoent Junior's future line of clothes / bags / whatnots.

We heard you. And we value your feedbacks and suggestions. We have put everything into consideration and we are happy (and proud!) to announce that all of the collections that we are to release from hereon forward are of improved quality. From the design, to the wear and tear, and versatility of items, each purchase will be a sure treasure.

b. Price control

Who wants quality products at bargain prices? I do! Sufing the online community for the best finds and secret steals is one of my favorite challenges, and we at Ghoent Junior would like all of our contacts to feel that they have found their perfect treasure chest here. All items will be charged at its most reasonable price, mostly at prices waaay below its aesthetic and quality value. We have worked hard over our past hiatus periods in order to search for the most affordable and quality-conscious business partners, and we are passing on the blessings to you, our loved customers.

2. ROOM FOR INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS

Finally! 2010 is the year that Ghoent Junior will finally start accepting orders from outside the Philippines to cater  to international clients. Once in a while we receive inquiries from clients from abroad, and so this year, we are finally tapping the international markets. We assure you that the high shipping costs will all be worth every penny. =)

A shoutout to Tin of Posh and Pretty Shop for helping me learn my options for international shipments. Thank you Tin! =)

Am looking forward to a beautiful year with all of you, pretty ladies! Let's all make 2010 a great year for shopping finds, shall we? =)

Cheers to everyone!
